I sure wouldn't pay HP $100 to attempt to solve this 'problem'. If your users can avoid dropping their laptops, I don't think Driveguard is needed. They said they'd be happy to help solve the problem but since the laptops are over year old it would cost at least $100 for phone help. Should I just delete the 3D Driveguard and then leave things alone? I called HP and complained that the new Windows update caused problems on 3 different laptops all different models. But when I go to HP's website and reinstall the 3D Driveguard - the error statement will be there upon booting. Once doing that the error statement upon booting is no longer there. i did some googling and I tried uninstalling the program called 3D Driveguard. With the new Windows updates we did in the last month all the laptops show this Accelerometer error window upon booting.
